Born in Fukui, Japan in 1988, graduated from Rikkyo University, Department of Visual and Performing Arts.
He advocates a unique approach called the media paradox.
With the concept of “updating stereotypes,” he traverses analog and digital, photography and painting in his work.

Message from Ryosuke Misawa for this exhibition
The evolution of technology is unstoppable as AI has been introduced in various fields since last year.
It is true that AI has entered people’s lives and the boundaries between them are melting.
The art world is no different.
NFT and other AI-based works are being produced around the world at this moment.
I became this method: making use of AI, and eventually paint in analog oil.
This is the evolution of a unique method called the “media paradox”.
I collaborate with AI to create the visuals on the digital software, and after the final visuals are expressed on the canvas, I draw them myself.
It is also a classic, authentic oil paint that exists in complete opposition to AI.
It is this unprecedented harmony and commitment that has the potential to be a step forward in ushering in a new era.
