Born in Hokkaido, Japan.
Graduated from Musashino Art University.
She started working for the editorial department of Pro Wrestling Weekly.
Now retired, she produces many artworks with wrestling motifs.

In all sports, spectators are positioned around the athletes, offering a variety of perspectives, each with its own unique advantages.
To capture this dynamic, Mio uses cubism—the technique pioneered by Picasso and Braque—which portrays an object from multiple angles on a single flat canvas.
This approach enables Mio to express the beauty of sports from diverse viewpoints, simultaneously showcasing what cannot be fully captured in photographs or videos.
